Bottling!

On Thursday, May 23rd, Coeur d'Alene Cellars completed one-half of its total bottling for 2013 by bottling 1361 cases of wine from the 2011 harvest (6 Under Red) as well as our 2012 whites (Viognier, Chardonnay, 6 Under White).
The day went incredibly smoothly. The first cases of Chardonnay came off the truck at just after 8am, and the last cases of 6 Under Red were placed on pallets at just after 3:30pm. Approximately 15 volunteers-mostly seasoned veterans of bottling who are also wine club members-participated in the frenetic process which came off without a hitch.
The wines are resting in their bottles now. Some, if not all of the whites, will be released this Summer. The 6 Under Red, whose label represents a golf-based theme, will be in distribution by Summer's end.
