Pickled Radishes
Wondering what to do with all those radishes in your garden? Serve these pickles 1 hour to 1 day after making. (The mixture may have a very pungent aroma after a day.) Serve with Coeur d'Alene Cellars No. 6 White.
2 cups sliced radishes
1 small oniion, cut into thin wedges and separated
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
Cooking
Instructions
Place radish slices and onions in a large bowl. In another bowl stir together vinegar, sugar, and salt until sugar is dissolved. Pour over radish mixture.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight before serving. Makes 2 cups.
