At 1400 feet elevation this is a cooler site and the grapes are later ripening. Small berries and long hang time give the wine rich aromatics
and flavors with very supple, elegant tannins with a long finish. The Boushey Syrah is produced as a single vineyard selection with small
amounts blended into some other Syrah bottlings.

In the center of Horse Heaven Hills, McKinley Springs provides prime growing conditions for many varieties. It is a warmer site,
with excellent air drainage which protects from frost. The Syrahs have excellent structure and fruit character. The old vines
Syrah for Opulence come from this vineyard. It is a great site for Bordeaux red varieties. The Viognier from this site has a
white peach character, while the Mourvedre is rich and spicy. The wines produced are Opulence, components of Washington Syrah,
Washington Viognier, L’Artiste, & Mo, McKinley Springs Cabernet Sauvignon and BDX.
