To vint this luscious wine, Coeur d’Alene Cellars combines fruit grown in three premium vineyards from distinct, unique sites in the Columbia Valley. The result is a complex, complete wine of exceptional quality and intensity, highlighting the Washington State Syrah experience. Two blocks at McKinley Springs Vineyard bring structure and depth, while Alder Ridge Vineyard gives bright red fruit and herbs. Stillwater Creek Vineyard lends intense deep fruit flavor and palate finesse.
From three Columbia Valley vineyards, this bold and balanced Syrah brings a combination of deep and bright Syrah fruit notes such as berries, cherries, plums, orange peel as well as baking spices, chocolate, lavender, cedar, smoke, and a trace of truffle. Barrel aging for 18 months lends a smooth and smoky finish. Great structure and fine-grained tannins promise great aging potential.
