We source our Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from three different vineyards in the Columbia Valley, each offering its own distinct and delicious component to the wine. The vines are cropped at a low yield to ensure maturity and a good concentration of flavor at harvest. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, rich and elegant and delivers aromas of ripe cherry, cassis, dried herbs and black tea on the bouquet, while hints of dark berry, mocha, cedar and white pepper complement the palate. It delivers enough acidity to ensure terrific aging potential making it an excellent cellar candidate.
2013 Cabernet Sauvignon
Ripe, intense fruit from McKinley Springs Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills provides dark cherry characteristics, with balanced tannins providing the necessary structure to this bold wine. Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Olsen and Lonesome Springs vineyards in Yakima Valley provide a soft, lush, highly-approachable mouthfeel, while McKinley Springs Syrah adds excellent spice notes to the bouquet and intensifies the color while smoothing out the palate of this delicious wine.
