AU GOURMANDE CHOCOLATE CAKE

With this cake sip some Coeur d'Alene Cellars Scarlet Lake Syrah or Opulence.  It can also be made with white cake mix, instant vanilla pudding mix and Amaretto.

For cake:
1 devil's food cake mix
1 small box of instant chocolate pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
1 cup sour cream

For glaze:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup coffee liqueur

Mix all cake ingredients together.  Put in bundt pan that has been sprayed with Pam.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

15 minutes before cake is done, combine in a pan the butter, water, sugar and coffee liqueur.  Boil 10 minutes, stirring often.  Punch holes in cake and pour glaze over.

Let stand of cookie rack for 2 hours.  Remove from pan.  Serves 10
